The event is set-up every year by the Agricultural and Commercial Society of Zambia who awarded Dana Holdings with the prize at the show.

Dana Holdings showcased New Holland Agriculture’s latest tractor range at its stand, including the powerful T6050 model, the 55hp and 75hp TT series tractors and the TT compact series with the TT35 and the TT45 models.

New Holland's TT55 and TT75 models are equipped with high power, speed, lift capacity and pulling strength, the company revealed.

The main theme of this year's show was 'Breaking New Ground', coinciding with the commemoration of 50 years of Zambia's independence, Dana said.

According to event organisers, the exhibition highlighted the role of agriculture in driving economic growth and in diversifying production to increase incomes and to strengthen food security across Zambia.

The 2014 Agricultural and Commercial Show is a platform for various sectors of the economy to showcase their offerings including livestock, poultry products, horticulture and agricultural equipment.
