Zambia hosts 4th Commercial Farm Africa 2015

The 4th Commercial Farm Africa will highlight agribusiness opportunities in Africa’s commercial farming sector

The event, which is set to take place between 7-9 October 2015 in Lusaka, Zambia will discuss the palm oil, cassava and cocoa farming sectors to name a few.

The conference has been organised by the Centre for Management Technology and will welcome ministerial members, technology companies and agribusiness representatives.

The opening talk on ‘Diversification Strategy to Grow Zambia’s Agri Sector’ will be led by Honourable Given Lubinda, MP & minister of Zambia's Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock.

Among other discussions, corporate sponsor SGS Precision Farming Services will give a talk and networking reception sponsor AGCO Corporation will discuss the 'Use Of Drones For Farmland Surveys and Crop Monitoring', as well as 'Modernization & Mechanization of Farming Practice.'

Event attendees will also have the opportunity to sign up for a site visit to Zambia Sugar Plantation & factory in Mazabuka on 7 October 2015.
