The Spanish association of manufacturers-exporters of agricultural machinery and its components AGRAGEX will attend the SIMA in Paris from 24-28 February 2019
AGRAGEX will be present in hall 5A, stand G046 during SIMA 2019, which is set to attract seven Spanish companies to showcase their innovative equipment for the agricultural professionals.
The other Spanish companies that will be present during the show include Arcusin (hall 5B, stand C022), Serrat Trituradoras (hall 5A, stand C095), Agrator (hall 5A, stand C062), Moresil (hall 5B, stand E099), Aguirre Maquinaria Agrícola (hall 6, stand H027), RKD (hall 5A; stand A051) and Prado Silos (hall 6, stand A087).
During the show, AGRAGEX aims to maintain and improve the presence of its companies in the French market, the main importer of its products.
“The French market keeps being the most important for our Association, so SIMA is one of the mandatory events for many of our associates. We also hope to be visited by professionals from nearby and French-speaking countries in general,” stated Juan Bernuy, foreign trade technician at AGRAGEX.
“Our companies manufacture, with European technology, strong equipment with affordable prices, and more importantly, adapted to every kind of market,” noted Bernuy. “Moreover, they have the availability and capacity to produce small series, which cannot be done by the big multinational companies.”
For that reason, the equipment developed specifically for the needs of the French farmer by the Spanish companies gets a lot of attention from the visitors at SIMA.
“From all of them, the equipment for soil preparation, fertilisation, seed drilling, machinery for the fruit trees, olive harvesters, atomisers and pulverisation equipment,” enumerated Bernuy. “About irrigation, it is worth mentioning that the deeply rooted ‘water culture’ of Spain has put its companies on top of the worldwide technology for the management and conservation of this natural resource.”
RKD Irrigación SL, the main manufacturer of irrigation pivots of Spain, is one of the companies that will go with AGRAGEX to Paris. Raúl Monje, sales director of RKD, commented, “We will participate again in SIMA with our exporting mentality, trying to get feedback about the new campaign of irrigation from French and other countries’ distributors and also with the intention of contacting potential new customers and distributors.”
SIMA 2019 will present the sectors of agricultural machinery, irrigation systems and storage. The 2017 edition, in which 1,800 exhibitors from more than 42 countries participated, was visited by more than 232,000 professionals from up to 135 countries.
