Clariant will launch TOXISORB, a 100 per cent natural way to protect animals from mycotoxins in feed, at EuroTier 2014 in Hannover, Germany from 11-14 November 2014 (Booth 17B21)
The clay mineral-based TOXISORB® products help to protect livestock from dangerous mycotoxin poisons ensuring healthy livestock and safe food, stated Clariant.
International trading of feed and feed additives will mean longer transportation times and storage, putting feedstuff at risk to mould fungus attack, added the company.
According to the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), around 25 per cent of feed worldwide is affected by contamination causing economic losses due to poor animal health and eventual loss of productivity for the farming industry.
