CMT will host 3rd Africa Palm Oil (Rubber & Cocoa) from 21-23 September 2015 in Accra, Ghana, to explore the renewed investment sentiment across palm oil, rubber and cocoa businesses
Ghana’s minister of agriculture Fiifi Kwetey will make the opening address, which will outline the country’s plan for investment in agriculture, under the title ‘Masterplan for Ghana's Agriculture Industry including New Regulations and Policies for Investment’.
The panel of speakers for various sessions is being drawn from major companies and organisations including Siat Group, Olam International, Olam Gabon, Oil Palm Development Association Ghana, Tupin Agro, Solidaridad West Africa, Vince Golden Oil Holdings, Rubber Research Institute of Nigeria, Hardman & Co., Institute of Agricultural Research for Development, Africa Renewables, PalmElit SAS and Ghana’s ministry of agriculture & rural development.
Speakers will also share their insights on the palm, cocoa and rubber industries in Africa.
The highlight of the Accra summit will be an optional site visit to Ghana Oil Palm Development Company, an integrated agro-industrial company that is a subsidiary of Siat Group, on the third day of the event.
