The twin exhibitions of FIAAP, VICTAM and GRAPAS were held last month in Cologne, Germany
A number of visitors and 276 exhibitors from the animal feed, flour and rice milling, grain processing and biomass pelleting industries gathered for the three-day event at KoelnMesse from 9-11 June.
Highlights included the FIAAP Animal Nutrition Award, which was won by Belgian firm Adifo, and the GRAPAS Awards, organised by trade magazine Milling and Grain, which had joint winners in the form of Alapala from Turkey and Buhler AG from Switzerland.
For the first time, FEFAC (the European Feed Manufacturers Federation) held its annual general meeting during the event, which also hosted a number of conferences, including the FIAAP Conference, Aquafeed Horizons, AEBIOM Pellet Workshop, Petfood Forum Europe 2015, GMP+International Feed Safety Assurance certificate, the IFF Feed Conference and the Global Milling Conference with GRAPAS International 2015.
The show also represented a landmark milestone for VICTAM, which celebrated its 50th anniversary, inviting 500 special guests to a celebration dinner in Cologne’s botanical gardens.
