As the organiser of ‘EuroTier digital’ and ‘EnergyDecentral digital’, the DLG (German Agricultural Society) will offer visitors a comprehensive range of information on current topics in the international animal husbandry sector from 9-12 February 2021
Whether it is animal welfare and emission reduction, husbandry and feeding, management and controlling or simply questions of marketing - under the guiding theme of ‘Farming in the Food Chain’, visitors to the digital platform of the world’s leading trade fair for animal production can expect a wide range of in-depth information services in which current issues are addressed and solution approaches are presented.
Consumers increasingly want to know where the food they consume comes from. In order to meet this requirement, transparency and traceability in the value-added chain are becoming even more important. This also enables feed manufacturers and livestock farmers to provide evidence that their operations and processes are in perfect order. ‘Farming in the food chain’, the guiding theme of EuroTier, classifies livestock farming – like agriculture as a whole – as an important link and responsible partner in the value-added chain for food. EuroTier digital will show how transparency and traceability are realised in agriculture and how they can be integrated in digital solutions for the entire value-added chain. In the digital technical programme, the guiding theme will continually be taken up in the various information and discussion formats.
DLG Studio: Exclusively from the DLG network
From 9-12 February 2021, the DLG will be broadcasting live events, discussion rounds and expert talks on comprehensive topics of the international livestock industry directly from the DLG Studio.
