DLG International has announced the postponement of the EuroTier Middle East to 7-9 June 2021
DLG International and Multibridge Event Management, the organisers of the trade fair, in close coordination with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), strategic partner of EuroTier Middle East, have taken the difficult decision to postpone the trade fair. This is due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the resulting travel and social distancing regulations.
The trade fair was originally scheduled to take place on 8-10 March 2021 at the same location.
“After careful consideration and in consultation with our key stakeholders, we regret to announce the postponement of the exhibition. Our exhibitors praise EuroTier Middle East as the platform where major decision-makers in the animal production industry meet. Naturally, we want to continue to maintain that standard and value we deliver to our customers.
“EuroTier Middle East is home to, among others, the ‘Top Breed Market’, which is the largest indoor live animal show and auction in the region. The previous edition of the trade fair featured 6500 live animals along with 175 breeders. To provide a similar experience in March is not possible while maintaining our stakeholders and staff’s safety and well-being. We are postponing the trade fair and plan to use this time to prepare and ensure our customers get the same high-quality trade fair experience when the trade fair returns in June,” said Bernd Koch, managing director of DLG International GmbH.
In addition to the Top Breed Market, EuroTier Middle East 2021 will be packed with new features, such as the new Middle East edition of the World Poultry Show, the innovative Aquaculture Zone and the first German Pavilion.
EuroTier Middle East is organised by the DLG together with its partners Multibridge Event Management and Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) to bring together the global animal husbandry industry under one roof to showcase the latest in technology, innovation and know-how tailored to the Middle East and regional markets.
EuroTier Middle East is part of the EuroTier China series, which takes place at alternate locations in China. The two trade fairs are regional extensions of the main EuroTier trade fair in Hanover, Germany. The next edition of EuroTier will take place online as EuroTier Digital on 9-12 February 2021.
