Hazera to progress with its fresh supply chain commitment at Fruit Logistica 2017

At Fruit Logistica 2017 Hazera will be confirming its presence as collaborating partner in the fresh produce supply chain

The top 10 vegetable seed company will again be presenting new products, ideas and opportunities for partnerships at Fruit Logistica, one of the biggest events in the fresh produce business, held 8 to 10 February 2017 in the Messe exhibition centre in Berlin, Germany

One of the important objectives set byHazera is delivering superior value all along the chain, through dedicated vegetable variety breeding and downstream support. Hazera’s focus is to create products that respond to particular needs and that open growth opportunities through long-term cooperation with growers, processors, traders, retailers and any other possible downstream partners.

Hazera is part of Limagrain, the fourth largest seed company in the world, created and managed by its 2000 farmer shareholders. The company already has a portfolio of successful partnerships based on its varieties. Hazera’s partnering initiatives have developed on several continents, and in most cases have an international scope. Seedless mini watermelons for example are now available year round and worldwide, thanks to concertation between a number of partners from different regions in the world.

At Fruit Logistica, visitors will find a complete range of vegetable crops from which the latest innovative varieties will be on show, just waiting for innovative thinking to create more success. Cabbice for example is a white cabbage variety featuring outstanding taste. Thanks to Hazera's partners, it has brought great progress for consumers and is now found on numerous supermarket shelves worldwide. Another success story is Goutine, the unique full size tomato with its distinctive, excellent aromatic taste and attractive appearance, that will be offered to visitors.
