Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show 2023 commemorates successful premiere in Hanover

The Inhouse Farming  Feed & Food Show of the DLG (German Agricultural Society) celebrated its successful premiere in Hanover from 12-18 November 2023

Inhouse Farming which was part of the world's leading trade fair, Agritechnica, perfectly complemented it and its main theme of 'Green Productivity' with new ideas from Inhouse Farming and Controlled Environment Agriculture. The show was a meeting place for visionaries and innovators from around the world, who presented their latest findings, shared knowledge, exchanged innovative ideas and networked. Around 100 exhibitors presented their innovations for indoor farming, vertical farming and new food systems at Inhouse Farming in Hanover.

Each of the seven exhibition days focussed on a different topic from different perspectives, which was very popular with trade visitors. Totally, around 100 speakers discussed the future of agriculture at more than 90 events, with the theme days offering a large international stage for the wide range of ideas involving the transformation of the food supply chain.

The DLG Spotlight also offered international trade visitors compact insights into innovative technologies for new agricultural and food systems and their readiness for practical application with the help of exhibits and consulting opportunities. Lite + Fog GmbH from Berlin emerged as the winner of the DLG Impulse Pitches 2023 for its 'Fogponic Modules' innovation.

"With the successful premiere, we've managed to set important impulses, rethink the value chain and initiate visions," said Yuliya Bondarenko, from the Inhouse Farming Feed & Food Show team. "In doing so, the DLG has further expanded its role as a leading competence network for future issues in the agricultural and food sector."

Next year, the Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show will be part of EuroTier, the world's leading trade fair for animal farming technology, and will take place in Hanover from 12-15 November 2024.
