The worlds leading fair for Horticulture will be hosting the Dutch ambassador as a guest as the Kingdom of the Netherlands continues its partnership with the event
"Two Countries, One Passion" is the motto of the IPM Essen Germany 2017 as the Netherlands partner the German hosted event. In 2017, around 400 Dutch exhibitors will present their expertise and networks at Messe Essen, 24 - 27 January 2017.
The importance to African market is that the European market is the largest import space for flowers in the world. The strength of European imports is crucial entering 2017 as Brexit risks the trading stability among the trading bloc.
For Africa, exports is crucial. Kenya is the worlds largest exporter so Europe is crucial. However, other markets, such as Russia and Japan are opening up their border. But, ties with European nations could be put under strain, so European shows, particularly the worlds largest horticultural, will provide African players with a great opportunity to network and build ties with new people and drive new business.
