Due to encouraging market development and increasing interest in the Ethiopian market, the 5th edition of agrofood Ethiopia & plastprintpack Ethiopia will feature more than 130 exhibitors from 14 countries, namely Austria, Bulgaria, China, Ethiopia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Jordan, Korea, Kuwait, Taiwan, Thailand and Türkiye
More than 3,000 trade visitors are expected from all over Ethiopia. Organised by the German trade show specialists fairtrade Messe in cooperation with local partner Prana Events, this most important business platform for the Ethiopian agrofood & plastprintpack industry will take place from 8-10 June 2023, at the Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa. Exhibitors will showcase adapted technologies and solutions in agriculture, food processing, ingredients, plastics, printing and packaging.
National pavilions in 2023 will come from China, Germany, India, Italy, Korea, Kuwait and Türkiye
The China pavilion will feature more than 50 exhibitors, while the German pavilion will be presented by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, in cooperation with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry AUMA.
An official India Pavilion supported by CAPEXIL, India’s Premier Export Promotion Council, will be joining. The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) is organising an Italian joint participation in cooperation with the trade associations FEDERUNACOMA, UCIMA, ANIMA, AMAPLAST and ACIMGA.
The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency KOTRA is represented with an information stand as part of the trade section of their Embassy in Addis Ababa.
The official Kuwaiti pavilion is organised by the Public Authority for Industry (PAI) – Kuwait and features eight exhibitors presenting food specialities from the Gulf.
The Türkiye pavilion is supported by the Ministry of Trade and includes 17 Turkish exhibitors.
