Omex Agrifluids has reported a highly successful presence at Agritech Expo Zambia, held at Gart Research Centre in Chisamba
Edgar Lungu, President of Zambia, visited the Omex stand in the British Pavilion. Lungu was accompanied by Fergus Cochrane-Dyet, British high-commissioner to Zambia.
Referring to the president’s visit, Alan Lowes, regional director at Omex Agrifluids, said, “We were delighted to welcome the President of Zambia, Edgar Lungu to our stand who showed much interest in our unique range of plant nutrient products.”
“We received lots of interest in our soluble plant nutrient products from Zambian wheat, maize, potato and soya farmers and vegetable growers from Ndola and Kitwe in the north and from the Lusaka area, especially Chisamba where Agritech was held,” said Lowes.
Omex currently sells its aptly named Omex ‘Bio Boost’ product, containing a full range of macronutrients and micronutrients plus a natural seaweed-sourced biostimulant, to farmers and growers throughout Zambia.
Apart from this, Omex’s upcoming products were also on display during the show. These include Calmax (22.5 per cent calcium with a balanced range of micronutrients), K41 (water soluble suspension containing potassium, magnesium and sulphur) and Zynergy (a unique complex of copper and zinc micronutrients).
“We were pleased to be at Agritech Expo Zambia 2018 to support our Zambian distributor Agricrop Services (Ndola) and would like to extend our thanks to all who visited our stand,” said Lowes.
