Poultry Africa 2019 all set to open in October

Poultry Africa 2019 will be held from 2-3 October in Kigali, Rwanda, focussing on the entire poultry production value chain in sub-Saharan Africa

Organised by VIV Worldwide, more than 100 companies from Europe, Asia, North- and South-America and from Africa will be presenting an even wider selection (plus 30 per cent space compared to 2017) of feed-to-food suppliers in poultry and eggs.

The event will provide an opportunity to learn from the experts’ technical best practices on a range of topics such as:

· Heat stress, sustainability, and AGP free food

· Poultry health – the way to productivity and profits

· Women in the poultry business

· Profitable poultry farming from feed-to-food

Leadership conference

On 1 October, the Leadership Conference will precede the Expo with four sessions on profitable poultry production in Africa:

1. Economic overview on the sub-Saharan region

2. The retail and digital aspects of the poultry business

3. The importance of animal protein and investing in poultry protein in Africa

4. Practical insights

Exhibitors profiles include feed; crop-tech and feed-tech; animal health; breeding and hatching; farm production; eggs processing and handling and many others.

Poultry Africa 2019 is supported by Dutch Poultry Centre, the Netherlands-Africa Business Council (NABC), Rwanda Development Board, the Embassy of the Netherlands in Kigali, government institutions, trade associations, industry media and stakeholders in Africa and from the world.
