The 43rd edition of EIMA International, the agricultural mechanics exhibition, will be held in the Bologna Trade Fair ground from 7-11 November 2018, focusing on the universal exposition of agricultural mechanisation
About 2,000 manufacturing industries and business people are expected to arrive from around the world. The review will feature 14 merchandise sectors and four specialised salone along with a new one dedicated to irrigation technologies and systems for the management of water resources.
FederUnacoma, the Italian Federation of Manufacturers of Agricultural and Groundskeeping Machinery and Associated Components, will organise the EIMA International which is planned for about 2,000 industries taking over an exhibition area of more than 300,000 sq m. The arrival of visitors is expected to exceed the 320,000 attending the 2016 edition including farmers, business people, contractors and mechanisation technicians as well as representatives from universities and political authorities.
Some of the major attractions of the event:
· The EIMA Components: A great exhibition event bringing in more than 800 components manufacturers
· EIMA Green: Focuses on gardening and the maintenance of greenery for professionals in the field and hobbyists and enthusiasts
· EIMA Energy: Covers the bio-energy supply chain, a sector attracting great interest due to ecological considerations and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions
· EIMA M.i.A: Taking up multi-functional farming with special reference to the maintenance and protection of land
In addition to these four, the 2018 edition will bring in a fifth, the EIMA Idrotech Salon which is totally dedicated to irrigation technologies and the management of water resources.
The review will draw members of the general public in numbers comparable to those arriving from 180 countries for the 2016 edition as well as official delegations of business people, following on the 60 delegations attending the most recent edition.
EIMA International is also set to involve communications through more than 100 conferences and meetings on new technologies, research, the agriculture economy and policies for the development of the agro-industry supply chains in the main agricultural regions around the world.
