Dubai show to highlight floristry sector growth

One of the largest horticultural trade shows in the Middle East has moved to a new venue, as it looks to accommodate a growing number of exhibitors from across Africa, Europe and the Gulf region

IPM Dubai 2012 is scheduled to take place from November 19-21 at Dubai World Trade Centre and will highlight the strength of the MENA region’s growing floristry sector.

Described as the “most important plant fair in the Middle East”, the exhibition will present a comprehensive range of plants, technology, floristry solution and sales promotion, as well as plant care and logistics.

The trade show is expected to attract a growing number of companies from across the African continent, with a number of Egyptian firms already confirming their participation at the event.

According to organisers Messe Essen, the fair will offer a complete overview of the latest developments and trends in the Gulf’s green sector, and the show will be supplemented by a diverse supporting programme with seminars about horticultural technology, floristic demonstrations and workshops.
