Bell Equipment Africa tractor series incorporates Booyco air conditioning technology

Global manufacturing firm Bell Equipment has announced that 73 Africa Series tractors intended for an Ethiopian customer, which feature integrated Booyco Engineering air conditioning units, are to be created following successful prototype trials

Bell first collaborated with Booyco on the project in 2008 after the engineering company produced technology that improved performance in high temperatures and humidity levels.

The same technology has been adapted and utilised for the air conditioning system in Bell’s Africa tractors, which, as a result, have a cooling capacity of 6.9 KW, as well as an evaporator system that can release up to 490 cu m of airflow per hour.
